What is Sozo?
Sozo is a Greek word meaning wholeness…
Wholeness in spirit
Wholeness in soul (mind, will, emotions)
Wholeness in body
The Sozo ministry is an inner healing and deliverance
ministry that attempts to get to the root of issues
-getting rid of lies we have believed
-replacing the lies with truth and revelation
So that the person can be free
Jesus said, “you shall know the truth and
the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)
The Greek word for ‘know’ means to have an
intimate & personal encounter with the truth, as well as
with the source of that truth.
Jesus said that He is “the way, the truth & the life”. (John 14:6)
Sozo is a gentle and effective ministry
led by the Holy Spirit,to bring us into greater truth, and into greater intimacy with
the Father and Son, “that in all respects we would prosper – and be in good
health just as our souls prosper”. (3 John 1:1-3)
Biblical Foundation for Sozo
“Whenever anyone turns to the Lord,
The veil is taken away.
Now the Lord is the Spirit
And where the Spirit of the Lord is – there is freedom.
And we, who with unveiled faces – all reflect the Lord’s glory –
Are being transformed into His likeness
With ever increasing glory
Which comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 3:16-18

You teach me wisdom in the inmost place.
