God Sends His Love on the Wing
I had a wonderful sign from God this morning! I am in the process of losing my job; and was almost in a panic about it. The prayer team at Lone Tree prayed mightily over me at church; and by God’s grace, I became at peace with my situation. It was a refreshomg day with a sound night’s sleep. This morning my wife, son, and I were on walk; and God gave me a wonderful sign. A sparrow landed in the street by us, and walked all the way home with us (about 2 blocks). Every once and a while, it would fall behind, and fly up to us to continue its “walk”. We were mazed that this apparently healthy bird would just hang out with us. After a few minutes, the bird flew up and landed on my head! He stayed there for a few minutes, then flew into a tree, and shortly afterwards flew away and out of sight. How awesome is that?! I couldn’t help buth think of Matt. 10:29-31: “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? ... So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” What a lovely word from the Lord!
